Yes. Your Pocket Office SIM uses Fixed Mobile Convergence (FMC) technology, which means your office landline number is tied directly to the SIM card, not an app or internet connection. When someone calls your office number, it rings on your mobile regardless of whether you are in the UK or travelling abroad. In the EU, this is included at no extra cost across 48 countries. For other destinations, simply activate a daily pass and your office number will ring on your mobile as usual.

Roaming can be enabled via the TISA app or by contacting our business support team before you travel. Once enabled, your SIM will automatically connect to local partner networks when you arrive at your destination. For EU countries, no daily pass is needed. For Zones 2 to 5, you can pre purchase daily passes or they will activate automatically on first use abroad. We recommend enabling roaming at least 24 hours before departure to ensure everything is ready.

A fair usage policy applies to all roaming usage to prevent permanent roaming or misuse. For EU roaming, Ofcom regulations allow operators to apply fair usage limits if a SIM is used abroad for extended periods. Normal business travel is fully supported with no restrictions. If you spend more than 60 consecutive days roaming, or if roaming usage consistently exceeds UK usage, we may contact you to discuss your requirements. Daily passes for non EU zones are not subject to the same fair usage thresholds.

Absolutely. This is the core benefit of Pocket Office roaming. Your UK office landline number rings on your mobile wherever you are in the world. Your callers experience no difference in call quality or connection. They will not hear any international dialling tones or delays. When you answer, it sounds exactly as if you are at your desk in the UK. To your clients and colleagues, it is completely seamless. You do not need WiFi, data, or any app for this to work.

Yes. Emergency calls are always available while roaming, regardless of your zone or whether you have an active daily pass. You can dial the local emergency number or 112 (the international emergency number recognised across Europe and many other countries) from your Pocket Office SIM at any time. Emergency calls are free of charge. Your SIM will connect to any available network to complete the emergency call, even if your usual roaming partner network is unavailable.
