4G desk phone

A proper office phone, anywhere there is a mobile signal. No Wi-Fi. No broadband. No cables to run.

The Yealink T74LTE has 4G built in. Plug it in, switch it on, and it is an extension of your TISA phone system, with your number, your caller ID and transfers to the office, on a site where the internet cannot reach. If the site does have Wi-Fi or a network cable, it can use those as a backup too.

Where it earns its keep

Built for the places your office network stops.

  • Construction sites

A fixed number in the site office from day one, long before any line could be installed, and it moves on with you to the next job.

  • Portacabins and site cabins

Temporary buildings rarely get a broadband line. This needs a plug socket and nothing else.

  • Garden offices

Wi-Fi from the house seldom reaches the end of the garden. 4G does.

  • Yards, stores and events

Warehouses, depots, farm offices, pop-up shops and event cabins: anywhere a desk phone is wanted but a cable is not.

How it works

It arrives ready. You plug it in to the mains or any power on site.

Yealink T74LTE 4G desk phone with a colour screen and corded handset
  1. We set it up before it ships. The phone is registered to your account as an extension and comes with its TISA Business SIM.
  2. Plug it into the mains, or a site generator, and switch it on. It finds the 4G network and connects to your phone system by itself.
  3. Use it like any desk phone in your office. Make and take calls on your business number, transfer to colleagues, pick up voicemail. Calls are charged at your normal rates.

Not a mobile in disguise

The same phone system as the main office.

  • Your numbers: calls show your business number, and your business numbers can ring it.
  • Your routing: put it in a ring group, a queue or the digital receptionist, like any other extension.
  • Your features: transfers, voicemail to email, call recording and call records, all from the same portal.
  • Data that is watched: the SIM appears in your portal under Business SIMs, with this month’s data use, so nothing runs out unnoticed.
  • More than enough data: 10GB a month is more than 100 hours of calls.

The phone

Yealink T74LTE. An executive desk phone with a SIM slot.

  • Three ways to connect: 4G through its own nano SIM, dual-band Wi-Fi, or a network cable. If one goes, it can carry on over another.
  • A 4.3 inch colour screen: caller name and number on screen, with 10 line keys for colleagues and shortcuts, up to 50 across five pages.
  • HD voice: an HD handset and speakerphone with Yealink’s noise filtering, which helps on a noisy site.
  • Headsets: Bluetooth, USB or a wired headset port, so nobody has to hold a handset all day.
  • Made for cabins and outbuildings: works from −10°C to +45°C and draws 1.5 to 3.5 watts, about the same as a phone charger.
  • Encrypted calls: TLS 1.3 and SRTP, the same protection as every other TISA extension.
  • In the box: the phone, handset and cord, stand and power adapter. A wall mounting bracket is available.

Questions

What people ask before they order.

Does it need Wi-Fi or a broadband line?

No. The phone has 4G built in and connects over the mobile network using the TISA Business SIM that comes with it. All it needs is power, from the mains or a site generator, and a 4G signal where it sits. Where a site does have Wi-Fi or a network cable, the phone can use those as well, and carry on over them if the 4G signal drops.

Is it a mobile phone?

No. It is a full desk phone and it works as an extension of your TISA phone system: your extension number, your caller ID, transfers to colleagues, voicemail, call recording and the rest. It simply reaches us over 4G instead of a cable.

Why does it need a SIM from TISA?

The SIM is what connects the phone to your phone system, and supplying it ourselves means we can see its data use and support the whole thing end to end. Every phone comes with a Business SIM with 10GB of data a month, which is more than 100 hours of calls.

What if there is no 4G signal at the site?

It needs a usable 4G signal where it sits, the same as a mobile would. If you are not sure about a site, give us the postcode before you order and we will tell you what we know about coverage there.

Can it call 999?

Yes, like any extension. Emergency services are given the address we hold for that extension, so if the phone moves to a different site, tell us the new address before it is used there.

Who can lease it?

Leasing is available to limited companies and LLPs only. Sole traders and partnerships can buy the phone outright and take the SIM on its own monthly plan.

Can it use a headset?

Yes. It takes Bluetooth headsets, USB headsets and wired headsets through its own headset port.

Can we move it between sites?

Yes. Unplug it, take it to the next site, plug it in. Update the emergency address with us when you do.

Next step

Tell us where the phone is going and we will send it ready to use.
